Types and Description of Cameras

Box Cameras
Box Cameras are what most people think of when it comes to cameras. The image quality is determined by how many lines of resolution the IMAGE SENSOR can produce(ranges from low res. 330 lines to super high res. 560 lines). The lens determines the FIELD OF VIEW (what the camera sees). Available in Day/Night (color during daytime and black/white at night) to maximize performance. Requires a mounting bracket.
Mini Dome Cameras
Mini Dome Cameras are small (less than 3.5 inches wide), maximize deterrence (difficult to determine which way the lens is facing), and are cost effective (built in fixed lens. Available in Day/Night. Ceiling mount or wall mount.
Outdoor Enclosures
Outdoor Enclosures protect cameras from vandalism and the elements. Comes with a built in heater, blower and defroster. Requires a mounting bracket.
Nightvison Cameras
Nightvison Cameras have built in IR Illuminators that allow the camera to see 150′ to 300′ feet in complete darkness. Lighting is very important for any camera to display premium images. The number of IR’s determine how far the camera can see. Day/Night operation. We also have a camera that can see up to 600′ in the dark.
Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) Cameras
Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) Cameras are used in applications where a user requires regular control over the camera. Used at department stores and malls, casinos, parking lots, mines, compounds, and offices. Can be programmed to do patterns (scrolling) and presets (focus on an object or area during an alarm). Requires a Keyboard. Remote viewing via DVR or IP based PTZ.
Covert Smoke Detector Cameras
Covert Smoke Detector Cameras are non-working smoke detectors. Covert cameras are hidden cameras designed to catch unsuspecting thieves “in-the-act”. A smoke detector camera is placed on a ceiling and can view straight down or at a 45 degree angle. If you look closely, you can see the camera pin-hole on the bottom
Covert Motion Detector Cameras
Covert Motion Detector Cameras are non-working motion detectors. Covert cameras are hidden cameras designed to catch unsuspecting thieves “in-the-act”. A motion detector camera is placed on the wall. If you look closely, you can see the camera pin-hole in the middle just below the lens cover.
